Life is composed of three categories of people: those ‘who are making themselves’, those ‘who people are making’ and those ‘who are being made by God’. I am fortunate to be in the last category. The only thing I can boast about, is the faithfulness of God towards me. I am glad to have been shown so much love, mercy and grace beyond what I could ever have imagined. I am an imperfect man in the hands of a perfect God.
I am thus an ongoing piece of work in the hands of the Master Potter who shapes lives and forms those who willingly submit, into vessels that can be used for His glory. I have been shown tremendous favour in life sometimes at points when such was least expected. In the words of Isaac Newton
“If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants”
I am a Christian and I greatly love God. I am as well a Nigerian and proud to be irrespective of those in our political class and citizenry who continue to give our nation a negative image. Nigeria is a richly endowed nation but one that is struggling due to poor leadership.
My experiences within and outside Nigeria have exposed me to visual arts (painting and sculpting), biological/health sciences, teaching, sports management, health quality improvement but must importantly preaching the word of God. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, speaking about my faith, reading and writing. The need to share my thoughts is part of what has motivated setting up this website.
